This is a starting-point template, not legal advice. Review it (ideally with a lawyer) before relying on it, and update the bracketed date once you publish.

Information We Collect

When you schedule a consultation or submit a vehicle search request, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or location, and details about the vehicle you're looking for (make, model, budget, timeline, and trade-in information if applicable).

We use third-party tools to operate parts of this site — including Calendly for scheduling consultations and a form service for processing vehicle search submissions. When you use these tools, information you enter is also subject to that provider's own privacy practices.

How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule and conduct your consultation
  • To research, locate, and negotiate on your behalf if you engage our paid service
  • To communicate with you about your vehicle search or purchase
  • To share your review and photo publicly only if you have separately given us explicit consent to do so

Information We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact information with dealerships or third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services and maintain business records, or until you request that it be deleted.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing cody@mycaradvocate.com.
